I'm so excited to announce my latest workshop exploring expressive watercolour painting.
This informative 3 hour session is ideal for beginners and improvers who wish to learn more about this wonderful medium. We will explore the process of painting flowers and leaves to compose a loose botanical illustration in watercolour on paper.
Using a variety of techniques, tools and mediums we will explore mark making, composition, colour theory and brush marks to develop the subject of florals and leaves. This will culminate in a watercolour illustration finished off with gouache, inks and splashes of colour.
I will be teaching in the lovely Education Room at Walford Mill Crafts in Wimborne, Dorset.
This beautiful 16th Century water mill sits next to the river Allen and offers a fantastic setting to create and learn in.
All covid precautions will be in place.
